HA friends, I would be SO happy if you would help in deciding what I should do concerning the background of my cards - white or bold/patterned?
Beginnings to college project. More so to the fact only half of my face is made up, not really the eyelashes. This isn't really how I want it, but i prefer this to the other first experiment. More from this shoot to come.

EXT. PODESTA, BALDOCCHI - (LATE AFTERNOON)
Scottie stands before the window looking at the floral
display. In the foreground is a group of madeup nosegays and
one of them is exactly like the nosegay Madeleine carried to
the grave, to the portrait, to the moment she threw herself
into the Bay. A porter closes the shop door and locks it. A
moment, then Scottie turns away to move down Grant Avenue.
He stops short. Coming up Grant Avenue, headed for Sutter Street, is a group of shopgirls who have just come out of work, and among them is one who -- again -- must surely be Madeleine. Scottie watches them come closer, trying to get a clear view through the crowd of passersby, catching sight of
the girl only in glimpses, and as the girls come abreast of him they stop to make their farewells. The one nearest to
Scottie, seen in profile, might have the same features as
Madeleine. He cannot be sure. This girl's hair is dark, where
Madeleine's was light; her features on closer inspection
seem heavier, and she wears much more makeup. And yet there is something about the way she carries herself. The other girls cross the street while the one nearest to Scottie goes
on alone. He instinctively turns and follows.

MAKING UP presents Fiona Raby and Bruce Sterling, two of the world’s most influential voices at the intersection of fiction and design, joined MADE UP curator Tim Durfee to discuss tactical anachronisms, designing for ambiguous reality, and the re-emergence of speculative practice in the 21st century. Moderated by Anne Burdick, MDP Chair.
Made Up: Design’s Fictions was staged in the 3,000 square foot, 50 foot high Wind Tunnel Gallery at South Campus from January 29 - March 20, 2011. Made Up is work of major and emerging international practices that forecast, hypothesize, muse, skylark, role-play, put-on-airs, freak-out or otherwise fake-it to produce work that is relevant to our increasingly confusing and accelerated world. Selections included a self-recording, 1:1 map of questions and propositions: dreams as program; science fiction as precedent; cults of commerce; objects as ideas; truth-revealing jokes; false histories; and elaborate scenarios.
