My cousin Beth, who is a sculpture made this for me. I simply love it! Here's some information on Yellowlegs: www.britannica.com/animal/yellowlegs

I just got home from work and have Christmas songs still playing in my head because we have the radio at work tuned into the station which is playing all of the Christmas songs. As I type this, the "Frosty the snowman" song is playing in my head. ⛄️😉

This Christmas tree ornament is made from wooden blocks. I know there is no hat on his head but that is ok, he doesn't seem to mind. He sure is a jolly, happy soul. ⛄️
Thanks for your visit! I hope you had a jolly, happy day. Sorry, but I couldn't resist saying that...Christmas songs have that effect on me. Haha!
Elephant carved from wood (not sure what sort) with Balsa wood tusks. My husband spotted this Elephant a number of years ago and fell in love with it. It now sits at the side of our fireplace.
Made of wood for Macro Mondays.

This is a collapsible wooden bowl made up of a base, a handle, and a spiral cut heart that stretches to form the sides of the bowl when the handle is upright. It's a clever bit of woodworking by the craftsman who made it!

MosaiCanada 150
"Odyssey and Hope" - The associated signage reads in part: It is not, strictly speaking, a mosaïculture piece. rather, it is representative of a new trend, that of so-called ecological works: creations with an often ephemeral quality, made from organic materials and inspired by nature.
Odyssey (the mare) and Hope (the colt) are born of the hands of Heather Jansch, a British sculptor widely praised in the UK.
