I enjoy using pretty things for activities. So I like to take this round basket for harvesting our walnuts – even if there might be more practical items ;-)

Mir macht es Spaß, für Tätigkeiten hübsche Dinge zu benutzen. Also nehme ich zum Ernten unserer Walnüsse gern diesen runden Korb – auch wenn es vielleicht praktischere Gegenstände gäbe ;-)

Nein, im Ernst - mir gefiel das Licht an dem Tag sehr und mir war nach einem eher einfachen Motiv

This tiny mouse was made by a local wood turner and usually lives on one of our bookshelves, but it was time for a photo shoot out in the woods today :)

HMM-- the theme for today, 7/29, is made of wood. there are 5 possibilities today- almost all square cropped and slightly noir-ish. this is probably the best macro, with details. hmmm, it appears that this is the fave so far-- maybe time for a cuppa coffee and some cogitating......... ok, since the i💙you handsign might not cut it due to the wood being secondary-- this is my choice for today :)
