I wanted to give depth to the stamens and in the end it reminds me of 6 little snakes poking their heads out of a green void.

A white flower was placed at the right distance to be magnified with droplets.

Photoshop was used only for exposure adjustment. Honestly one of my favorite pictures.

Looks like a spinning tumbleweed or dust cloud caught in a still shot.It gives so much motion even though it is still.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

An unexpected visitor found in a bunch of flowers. Very active little guy...but here he was sneaking up on me. Don't worry. After his photo shoot he was gently placed outside in our flower garden.

So many shades of white.

Dozens of green water drops distracting from a perfectly beautiful yellow flower.

Poussée d'amanite tue-mouches en forêt d'Argonne ardennaise

Deep color in a plant well past its prime.

In its habitat it is the fastest and the roughest. In ours it is something beautiful and unknown.

Plavi Kristov cvijet i pčele u tihoj igri prirode 🌸🐝

Fotografija je dio albuma The Soul of MF.

Blue Passionflower and bees in their silent dance of nature 🌸🐝

The Blue Passionflower (Passiflora caerulea), also called the Crown of Christ, has long been a symbol of patience and faith. Its unique forms tell a story: the corona of filaments, five stamens, and three stigmas are said to represent the Passion of Christ. Here, bees are drawn to its intricate beauty, collecting nectar with tireless devotion.

Captured with Takumar 1:1.4/50 (M42) at f/4, 1/160s, ISO 320 on Canon R7 — handheld.

Part of the The Soul of MF album.

I love magnolia macro photos. Especially in black and white.
