Taken for the group #MacroMondays - theme #Speckled
A macro of the surface of an antique glass vase which has colourful flecks within the glass itself including air bubbles.
The macro measures 1 inch x 1 1/2 inches.
Taken using a Panasonic DMC FZ200 in macro mode under natural daylight conditions.

Some people get the willies thinking of snow, but up here, it starts in earnest in November, and is with us March, sometimes April, so we learn to live with it, and I love it. We had a nice blizzard with high winds April 27 to April 28, gifting us with 10-15 cm's of snow. The moisture was welcome, since we've only had 10 mm's since the beginning of March...

This is a photo of a cheap Mylar solar filter I cobbled up to take eclipse pictures. I've had it for a while and I need to replace it because I don't think it would survive being cleaned. Here is the picture I was taking. This is the setup. The image quality is not so much, however, my sensor isn't burned up. Thank you to everyone that stopped here to view, like and comment, HMM!
