Old, probably deserves retirement... still, so simple and beautiful and so easy to combine with colours :-)

This is for Macro Mondays them "Double exposure". Both images are just within the 3 inch limit. Instead of learning how to do double exposures in my camera I just took two shots and blended them in GIMP. That took some time to figure out as well. The background image was illuminated solely by candlelight, and then I shot the candle against a black background, which allowed the use of "add grayscale mask" to blend the candle's layer. Both images were shot with a Canon EOS 5D mark 4 and Canon 100mm F/2.8L Macro lens.
Macro Mondays theme Forks. A fork shot through a scrim. light balance for flash shifted to blue. Flash hand held from behind. HMM ,;-)
HMM....... the macromondays theme for today is numbers. my intention is to show you the inside of a broken clickr-- it's just a little over 1 and a half inches ...
dang, was going to use the mostly washed one but cloning/dusting on picmonkey took off the EXIF data.. so this is the undusted one
**** and in my defense, this was a clicker i rescued from an electronics recycling bin so i could take it apart.
For Macro Mondays - Lit By Candlelight.
Just enough light to see the cricket scores.
Happy Macro Monday!
