The metal jaws fully closed,
when they will open nobody knows,
holding bolts or cutting wire,
forged from steel in red hot fire.
(A poem by me)

Would an alien civilization feel the need to protect themselves from our radio transmissions? Thanks to anyone that stops at this photo to look, maybe like, maybe comment. HMM!

With the Sun on them, these little fruits glow a translucent orange-red. Birds love them! (Not for people or dogs.). They are a different species of Honeysuckle from another Honeysuckle plant I have which produces berries earlier in the year. I posted a photo of its berries in June. This one is a vine with tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds. The other is a bush with distinctive woody branches.
Theme: "Fruit"
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.
Patience and a very quiet hand is required to move all these tiny little bowls onto the holes

This is a 17mm hole drilled through a fence post. The post stands in our yard and provides a pedestal for a bird house. In my quest to find an interesting hole to photograph for this weeks Macro Mondays theme I peeked through this one and, well, choice made. Lighting was provided by my cheap flash connected to the camera via cable and aimed at the opposite end of the hole. Happy Macro Mondays! Thank you to anyone that cares to stop here to look, like, and possibly comment.
