For this photo at 2 x magnification with mp-e 65 mm (and kenko extension tubes, I didn't remove them) I used f/8, the best combination of sharpness and depth of field in my opinion.
Usually I go for a lower f number to obtain more detail and less depth and than use zerene stacking.

Nice to know that blueberries lie in a glass, the glass name in Italy ( country where I live) is Bicchiere, so the mix of two languages could be.. blueberries in the “ bicchiere” 😄

Lots of fallen Autumn leaves around now. This is a 1 inch section of a leaf from an Ornamental Pear Tree.
This is a toothpick holder and my Grandmother had one! I found out they were made in the 40's and 50's and when I saw one at a flea market some thirty years ago, I had to have it because of the memories it brought back. You press on the woodpeckers head and he leans forward and handily picks up the toothpick for you. HMM!
