La Machine has finally been revealed. Its a 50ft tall spider! Ok so it looks small there but remember that spiders always have really long legs. I’ve seen this with its legs out and its big. Some stats. It weighs 37 tonnes. Its 50 feet high. 50 hydraulic axes of movement. Its made from steel and reclaimed poplar. It moves, it does move, at 2mph and took 1 year to build. There will be 7 different special effects. Water, flame, smoke, wind, snow, light and sound. I’m going to take my G9 to get a movie, its too big an event not to, but given the other 2 bodies I’ll have I may get lost in the viewfinder and forget to make a movie. Oh for a Nikon D90.
When I was a kid, I used to own a Combattler V DX Chogokin toy. I still remember I deliberately picked Combattler over God Sigma because Combattler is a 5 vehicles combiner. 5 is obviously better than 3, right?
Bandai's SOC line has several Voltes V releases, but I was never interested enough to get one. I was not exactly a fan until I saw GMA's Voltes V Legacy teaser, which is truly impressive and brings back a lot of good memories. I am so looking forward to the actual film release.
After my divorce, I began to build my favorite anime mechs in LEGOs as a mean to balance the stress of single parenting. LEGO IDEAS projects like len_d69's Voltron and anthonyleemwi's God Sigma have been very inspiring. In 2021, I built my own God Sigma, followed by Albegas and Daltanious.

This old parking garage ramp feels like a time machine to the past. Descending the ramp you feel like you are going back in time, at least until you emerge into the modern city.

It took an experienced seamstress at least 14 hours to make a dress shirt for a man; a woman's dress took 10 hours; and a pair of summer pants took nearly three hours. Most individuals would have only two sets of clothing: a work outfit and a Sunday outfit.In 1790, the English inventor Thomas Saint invented the first sewing machine design. His machine was meant to be used on leather and canvas material. The first practical and widely used sewing machine was invented by Barthélemy Thimonnier, a French tailor, in 1829. The first American lockstitch sewing machine was invented by Walter Hunt in 1832. His machine used an eye-pointed needle (with the eye and the point on the same end) carrying the upper thread and a falling shuttle carrying the lower thread.
