I got a new laptop at work! Remember the issues I had with my desktop? Well, the powers-that-be decided that perhaps I might get more work done with a functional computer, so I got my new laptop a few weeks early.
However, with the switch-over, I've been playing catch-up on missed work and haven't had much time for Flickring. So, if I missed your pics, or didn't comment on them, here's what I would have told you (please choose all that apply):
Ha!
Cute!
Delicious!
I love those boots!
The light in that photo is gorgeous.
Nom, nom, nom.
I can't believe how cold it is.
I wish I was someplace warm too!
Get back to work, Stacey!
I love that color.
Yay, it looks fantastic on you!
Your kitteh is so freakin' cute.
Yum!
The exposed internals of a MacBook Pro Retina (late 2013) with the back-cover removed. The original battery has been replaced by a third-party battery.
I get a daily reminder that I haven't backed up my hard drive. It's also telling me that it's been 72 days since the last time I was home. It was good to be home, even if it was just for a day.
Based on an article posted on digg, I thought I'd see what my MBP could handle. I opened every piece of spam for the last day and half (638) and hit F9. Took about a minute and a half, but it worked...
I want to see if it can handle a 1000. ;)
This is my personal laptop -- I use it for work because Macs simply have all the tools I need to get my job done, faster, and more elegantly, without struggle. Off to the left is (not visible) is my work issued Dell D800...
This is one of the MBP batteries Apple has recalled. However, the local Greek distributor is giving me hard time to replace it!

When putting a light behind the back of a MacBook or in my case, a MacBook Pro, and the computer is asleep, the light will come through the logo and screen, resulting in sheer awesomeness. Sorry for the image quality, my iPhone won't let me import photos.
With the latest beta of Parallels and Virtue Desktop, one can create the illusion of "Fast OS Switching" with ease. Beta5 is the best yet, I think I'm going to buy this product.
SATA hook up via ExpressCard/34 slot. Apple replaced this spot with a SD card slot on newer 15" models. Upgraded the Seagate 320GB 5400 rpm to a Seagate 500GB 7200 rpm. So far it's working great on this Macbook Pro 5,1. I used Time Machine & a Leopard disk to restore from backup.
Streaming the Apple WWDC 2013 keynote. This was the first year people could watch a live stream. But you had to use Safari on a Mac.
The difference between the broken and new MacBook pro battery is very obvious.
Luckily these don' explode.
Sigh-- My lemon flavored MacBookPro has to take a trip back to California. I hope it has a nice time, I am going o vacation myself.

If you like this pic, don't forget to fave or to invite it into one of your lovely groups ;-) Thx!

My awesome rig at work. From left to right: 22" LG Flatron, 20" iMac, 15" Macbook Pro. Yea, that's right!
Although, my schedule has gone a little to pot over the past weeks I do like to keep myself a little organised!
