You can't really see the the vertical white stripe is the little remote that comes with the MacBook Pro. I had it in my pocket and accidently held down the play/pause button. I thought it was an ad on the page I was visiting (it wasn't google, I am too embarrassed to let on that I was on Perez Hilton) that is until my computer went to sleep.

With the introduction of the Intel Macs. It gave me the opportunity to drop my Windows PC. A 15" MacBook Pro became my workhorse (now in use by my parents). I then upgraded to the 17" MacBook Pro. It was and still is a great machine. It actually replaced my desktop at work and home. The extra screen space was great for working with multiple apps and Windows VMs. However, it isn't the most portable laptop for travelling.

I got an 8 Gb RAM kit today to replace the 4 Gb I got originally in my 2009 MacBookPro- it makes a huge difference and was rather simple to open the case, pop out the old ones, and insert the new chips.

This is just the coolest feature...
