No idea, what is going on with this Daisy.

Jungfrau Park is an amusement park located near Interlaken, Switzerland. It opened as the Mystery Park in 2003, and closed in November 2006 due to financial difficulties and low turnout. The park was designed by Erich von Däniken, and consisted of seven pavilions, each of which explored one of several great "mysteries" of the world. Von Däniken opened the theme park to present his interpretations of unsolved mysteries involving extraterrestrial life that he believes took place around the world.

Mystery Hill is a house/tourist attraction in the mountains where everything seems to flow uphill. It is built on an incline and the floor isn't level. I guess my camera was crooked last night because the little house looks like its leaning! :)

A lot of you have asked me about my home situation so I thought it was time for an update. After going to parties the last two weekends I stayed in last night and enjoyed some DVD's with my wife. She didn't even make me take off the short skirt I had on,even though I had jeans ready to replace it. She did like this dress and another I tried on her for better though. Things are going pretty smoothly as far as my dressing at home goes. She seems comfortable with 2 times a week now, not so much three so I am not pushing the issue. Last night we talked about a lot of things. One thing she is Very positive and supportive about is me piercing my ears! In fact, ear piercing would be lower on my priority list if it wasn't for her encouragement there. She wants to do it for me, the way she did herself when she was a teenager, and that involves putting in ear rings that tighten over several days untill they pierce through. That will not be practical for me as I have short hair and do have a male job/life. My main concern has been the 6 weeks you have to leave something in after the initial piercing. From talking to some of my friends, it seems like there are little flesh colored plastic studs that can be inserted and are supposedly not noticeable. My idea is to use some concealor on top of that also, so we will see. I may take the plunge and do it before too long.

A couple more things we talked about are laser hair removal or electrolysis ( I am seriously considering doing this soon) and my decision to start taking (herbal) hormones. She is not crazy about either one of these but seems ok with it. Especailly when I am en femme around her I get the question "why don't you go full time?" I am not ready to do that for other reasons but I am glad to know the idea is not crazy to her if I ever am able to transition.

I do want to make one more point. For those of you that are interested, I am trying to show that crossdressing is not something you necessarily have to hide from your wife. I did for many years and when it got to the point I had to progress farhthur than simply dressing, I just had to tell her. That in itself has gone very well, however I do want to clear up any misconceprtions/delusions out there about this being a happy marriage. My wife is bipolar and although i do love her/care for her we have not slept together in years and sleep in seperate rooms. Life with her is an up and down yo yo and she has been threatening to leave since almost the day we got married. My standing offer is to help her pack but at the end of the day we end up needing each other and we do have some good times as well as bad. For instance, she was at my throat much of the day yesterday but it was about one of my dogs, not my dressing so I should be thankful for that. I just do not want to paint such a rosy picture to you other married girls out there. Things have gone great with her acceptance of Tammy, but when I told her I felt I had nothing to lose. Those of you with a really happy or close marriage or with kids at home have other considerations and have to weigh those in as well. If there is hope though that your partner will accept at least to some degree your female side then I think I have learned that sharing is much better than hiding.

with more clarity below.

I feel discouraged, but the dolls tell me that frowning causes ugly lines.

This is the head/face of a wooden sculpture that I had purchased in Costa Rica a few years ago. The facial expression was intriguing and mysterious to me. The artist had created several sculptures ranging from 15" tall to 6' tall. He used the wood from trees that had died or were cut down, to create the bodies and recyled bicycle chain rings for the hair...I fell in love with her. ;)

Happy Macro Monday.. to everyone out there today!

A parishioner, recommended a book to me, after I had given a homily. To my delight, I sense it will expand my understanding about myself and also give me the language to express myself and relate to my experience of life and it’s journey with God.

Coming back to our consideration of the Presence of God, you must know that the tender and loving light of God's countenance kindles a divine fire of love for God within the soul that ardently embraces it. This fire is so great that one is compelled to control the outward expression of feelingsy.

-The Practice of the Presence of God In Modern English, Brother Lawrence

When he was troubled by something, he seldom consulted anyone about it. Knowing only that God was present, he walked in the light of faith and was content just to lose himself in God’s love no matter what happened. There, in God’s love, he would find himself again.

An abstract! Any guesses/ideas?

Is there anyone who can win all four types of "Love's Mystery Att"? I don't think I'm there.

Of course, I have applied for 4 types of "Love's Mystery Att", but I don't feel like I can win. .. .. ..

I have NO IDEA. Sorry.

Still pretty sweet-looking, though, right?

(What is sad is that the ID of this car is right on the tip of my brain, as it were. It's...just...out...of...reach...)

After 25 years the mystery box has been opened. Found, a cornucopia of comical images that date back to the early 1970s. A couple are not even mine. Some of them I didn’t even remember until I saw them. Many are large drawings. Oh the scanning……postings to come!!

Week 17: Mystery (April 23rd - 29th)

Upper right corner, a print from a contact sheet (textured paper) of a photo my father must have taken in the early '60's. I know the people in the photo and the room was in my grandparents house. What is actually occurring in the photo is a total mystery to me.

The fiddle hanging on the wall with the bizarre wallpaper, now hangs in my brother's house.

We wake, if ever at all, to mystery

- Annie Dillard

opening

Life itself has always been the miracle.

We just couldn´t see it, because we were too busy

trying to be someone,

trying to become something,

trying to be good,

trying to understand,

trying to succeed,

or even trying not to try.

Jeff Foster

Grand Central's clock for Daniel's Mystery Clocks Challenge - April/ May 2020 over at the Mystic Challenge Group.

I previously posted a similar picture but that one didn't have a mystery flying object that I just noticed, maybe a glider, drone or ?????

"Macavity’s a Mystery Cat: he’s called the Hidden Paw—

For he’s the master criminal who can defy the Law.

He’s the bafflement of Scotland Yard, the Flying Squad’s despair:

For when they reach the scene of crime—Macavity’s not there!

Macavity, Macavity, there’s no one like Macavity,

He’s broken every human law, he breaks the law of gravity.

His powers of levitation would make a fakir stare,

And when you reach the scene of crime—Macavity’s not there!

You may seek him in the basement, you may look up in the air—

But I tell you once and once again, Macavity’s not there!

Macavity’s a ginger cat, he’s very tall and thin;

You would know him if you saw him, for his eyes are sunken in.

His brow is deeply lined with thought, his head is highly domed;

His coat is dusty from neglect, his whiskers are uncombed.

He sways his head from side to side, with movements like a snake;

And when you think he’s half asleep, he’s always wide awake.

Macavity, Macavity, there’s no one like Macavity,

For he’s a fiend in feline shape, a monster of depravity.

You may meet him in a by-street, you may see him in the square—

But when a crime’s discovered, then Macavity’s not there!

He’s outwardly respectable. (They say he cheats at cards.)

And his footprints are not found in any file of Scotland Yard’s.

And when the larder’s looted, or the jewel-case is rifled,

Or when the milk is missing, or another Peke’s been stifled,

Or the greenhouse glass is broken, and the trellis past repair—

Ay, there’s the wonder of the thing! Macavity’s not there!

And when the Foreign Office find a Treaty’s gone astray,

Or the Admiralty lose some plans and drawings by the way,

There may be a scrap of paper in the hall or on the stair—

But it’s useless to investigate—Macavity’s not there!

And when the loss has been disclosed, the Secret Service say:

‘It must have been Macavity!’—but he’s a mile away.

You’ll be sure to find him resting, or a-licking of his thumbs;

Or engaged in doing complicated long division sums.

Macavity, Macavity, there’s no one like Macavity,

There never was a Cat of such deceitfulness and suavity.

He always has an alibi, and one or two to spare:

At whatever time the deed took place—MACAVITY WASN’T THERE!

And they say that all the Cats whose wicked deeds are widely known

(I might mention Mungojerrie, I might mention Griddlebone)

Are nothing more than agents for the Cat who all the time

Just controls their operations: the Napoleon of Crime!"

- T.S. Eliot, from "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" (1939).

For all the years I've been driving through Glen Finart near Ardentinny, and all the countless hours I've spent on the forest paths in the area, I never knew that these mysterious ruins existed. I was coming back from another forest walk and heading back to my car when I bumped into a local who was walking his dog (he turned out to be an American from New Orleans!) . He asked me if I had photographed these ruins. I didn't know what he was talking about so he pointed me in the direction of a tree-covered granite hill. Nestled at the top, reached by a trek through bushes, trees and over a barbed wire fence (a section was brought down by a fallen tree) I found these ruins. A Google search returned no hits and none of the locals I've talked to seem to know anything about it or its history so, for now, it remains a mystery.

Update: I found an old map from 1869 that showed these ruins to be in an area called Nether Craigcoll but I'm still unable to find any information about them. Bit at least I now know what the area is called and that the building was in ruins as early as 1869.

Was at Seminarieparken in Gothenburg and photographed the cherry blossoms when the mystery rolled in and opened doors to other cherry dimensions.... and the colors carried messages in the boundary between the universes whispered by the Higgs particle.... be humble.. 😄😍

Land of Mystery

One from last week on a trip to Rydal. I’d been to Rydal falls before but never really explored around Rydal Water. I took a wrong turn when I first got there which is where I found this view. The wrong turn worked out well I think 👍📷 What do you think? .

I don’t know how it happened.

I’ve tried to trace it back -

to a word,

a glance,

a shift in the air.

But love doesn’t leave breadcrumbs.

It arrives whole,

like a dream you wake into

instead of out of.

You were a stranger in that coffee shop.

And yet, somehow,

you felt like a memory I hadn’t made yet.

Something familiar wrapped in the thrill of the unknown.

There was no thunderclap,

no cinematic swell of music.

Just a quiet unfolding -

the way your presence settled into me

like sunlight through a window I didn’t know was open.

And that’s the mystery, isn’t it?

How love chooses us.

How it slips past logic,

past caution,

past all the walls we build

and simply says, this one.

You didn’t ask to be my turning point.

You didn’t try to change my world.

But you did -

just by being in it.

I still don’t understand how.

And maybe I never will.

Maybe love isn’t meant to be understood.

Maybe it’s meant to be felt,

cherished,

held with reverence

like a secret too sacred to explain.

You are my mystery.

Not because I don’t know you,

but because I do -

in ways that defy explanation.

And I will spend the rest of my days

honoring the wonder of that.

Yours,

In awe,

In love,

In mystery.

I had the pleasure of shooting The Mystery Machine owned by www.facebook.com/stickerbods I always enjoy photographing unique vehicles and have always been a scooby doo fan since a young lad. Even my wife and son tagged along for the shoot to see it. It's one of those vehicles that you drive past or look at and can't help but smile and wave and take pictures of. As for authenticity it's the best one i've seen. They even have a little Scooby wagon in the back and a giant scooby doo plush to finish it off. To make it better they are planning some chaity events with it as well so it's all for a good cause.

I really enjoyed photographing it and have a bunch of photos I am happy with and will be uploading in good time. It took me a long time to decide which photo I liked bes tto upload, I think this one gives the best perspective.

Enjoy

Not a bad view up the valley from one of our walks up near Glenorchy. The mystery summits up there are where my real interest lies!
