Some light panning at sunset.
This shot was horribly underexposed as I was shooting in manual exposure mode and wasn't paying attention to my meter with the changing light conditions. The good news was it was shot at ISO 100 in raw format so there was plenty of headroom for post-processing adjustment. So nearly three years after this was taken, I stumbled across this as I was weeding out my Lightroom catalog and decided to give it a go.
There were numerous adjustments made in both Lightroom and Photoshop but the Lightroom exposure was upped +2.25 to give you an idea.

Delta 9931 with shiny fresh paint arriving from NRT after a cabin upgrade to the new Delta One suites after having all the work done in Singapore.
Sad that this aircraft, was withdrawn from use just 1.5 years later and ultimately retired from Delta Airlines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Another grungy, rainy shot taken from 5,100 feet (1.55km) away. These rare scheduled 747 flights out of MSP are always worth catching even in less-than-ideal photographic conditions.
Tough image quality from such a great distance (1.6 miles/2.6km) in the rain and low visibility but this is a fairly unique perspective you don't get to see too much of in photos around MSP.
This is the start of the takeoff roll of Delta 615 today, bound for Tokyo on runway 22. You gotta love those four engines at high output blasting the water off the runway behind the Queen with a little smoke added in.
Trying to get back to active posting with some freshly caught images.
Waiting for just the right moment to get the shield lined up on Illinois One as it taxis to the gate on Delta.

I'm not certain if this registration had ever been at MSP before, at least I couldn't find anything going back eight months. I chased the former Continental heritage livery (N75436) back in June before I knew it had been repainted to regular United colors. That's when I became aware the Continental heritage livery now flies on this registration.
Taxiing for departure at 0624 local time.
It is rare to see this Air Europa Airbus A330 in the USA outside of JFK and MIA. This aircraft was a substitute for the scheduled Condor Boeing 767 due to mechanical issues as I understand it.

Arriving from Phoenix, CAVOK Air 7146 completes it's 4 hour, 8 minute flight. I'm not sure what it's purpose was, but it ended up at Signature.
Throwback Thursday upload from the Canon G3 archives..."City of Tokyo" gets airborne off runway 22 on a hot July afternoon.
Construction still taking shape on runway 17/35 in the background which would be completed and operational in October 2005.
I can't make out the registration on the ex-UAL DC-10 at the FedEx ramp. It wouldn't surprise me if it's still operating in the FedEx fleet as an MD-10.
JetBlue 836 gets airborne off runway 30L on its way to Boston.
This not-often-seen view was taken near the intersection of taxiways Whiskey and Delta while on a "behind-the-scenes" tour hosted by the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
A very rare sight of a British Airways aircraft at MSP airport. They usually only end up here due to some type of emergency. This one was a passenger medical emergency while enroute from London to Phoenix.
Seen here at engine start after pushback, it would taxi to the 12R deice pad for treatment prior to departure.
