Stained glass mosaic, can be hung in window or on wall. This picture was taken with piece in front of window.
I bought this from Joy. Yummy glass. It cuts perfectly and love it so much.
Used some of it on the glass vase.
I laid irridescent paper over this cross, and then used some of the stained glass pieces that I got garage saleing yesterday to create a stained glass window effect. The irridescent paper under the glass really makes it sparkle.

Larkin with Toads is a large scale, mass participation public art event that is populating Hull with enormous decorated toads for 10 weeks during summer 2010.
Look out for my mosaic toad (commissioned by ARC www.arc-online.co.uk) in Hull (Blanket Row) from 17 July 2010 for 10 weeks which forms part of the Larkin25 festival (www.larkin25.co.uk) celebrating the poem 'Toads'.
A 'Larkin with Toads Location Map' detailing the 40 decorated toads around Hull can be picked up at Hull Tourist Information Office on Queen Victoria Square, Tel: 01482 223559.

The sign is done. The frame is painted. And I have to keep these pictures private until I can surprise my son. I think he'll be very tickled.
This was done on a wood substrate, totally in vitreous tile.
Tomorrow is grouting day and I'm very excited! Hopefully it'll transform the way I think it will- black grout does a lot to make the pieces pop.

Out of the mothballs to be finished...Mom loved this piece and how I changed the Van Gogh painting into the round...It has a beveled mirror in the center... it too, is on a reinforced, recycled cable spool top.
Starting to add tempered glass in the andamento style of Van Gogh's paint strokes, a bit of a challenge to me right now.
