I played with the color spectrum on this one, dividing the pot into the three primary colors, and then using the secondary colors on the rim. Perfect example of an elsiedoddle...

There always seems to be a lot of agony about grout color selection on the internet and I just wanted to share how I've come to do it in case it helps.
If you put dry grout of different colors on your piece, you can choose which effect you like the best very easily. Then, just brush off all the different colored grouts, and grout with your preference.

Copyright 2014 Lynn Bridge. Approximately 2' x 2' x 10". Fused glass and stone applied to sculptural polystyrene and cement form.
Made this one using Tile Creator. Not completely happy with the palette I created for the Tiny Tiles...A little too pixelated for my taste as well...but a different outcome from a different process...
Michael's heavy duty guitar bristles with rusty nails and other found metal objects. It hangs out in the garden and dares anyone to pick it up and play it.
I saw this window on Christmas Day 2007 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Houston. It is the inspiration for my Prince of Peace table.

The opening reception for the Handmade in America show at the Singing Stone Gallery in Ybor City, Tampa was last night.
This is me with my three mosaic wall art pieces that were juried into the show.
Show runs through August.

Copyright 2015 Lynn Bridge. “Through the Woods” 10 ¼” x 8” x 2 ¼”. Fused glass adhered to a cradled panel, and grouted.
$235.00 plus tax.
A girlfriend bought these tiles at a weird yard sale out in the Mojave desert, she said these were about the only things the guy had that were any good. A good eye she has!....and nice of her to give them to me since she is into picasette also.
I played with hammered bent copper wire, and assorted venetian and mini tiles, and then grouted in black.
I've spent the last week learning how to edge my microwave platters with U lead came, and to solder it together. The platters are heavy, but so far the new edging is working. I soldered chain directly to the edge, and now I have a new way to display the sun catchers. It looks more finished this way, and is easier to give away.
My artist and his pet (and his kid's pet and his grandkid's pet...) Sulcatas can live 100+ years! Leo the tortoise is 15 years old now.
Just finished applying the tile for this mosaic...next step is choosing a grout color and grouting it.
