Rompers truly are the best. They are like the epitome of comfort and you can wear them out or you can wear them in. Personally I love using rompers as PJs and the newest set by Promagic is perfect for dressing up or dressing down. Introducing the July rompers by Promagic now at Shiny Shabby. Made for the maitreya, legacy, freya, and hourglass this set is sure to be the most comfortable thing you buy all summer. The best part is all the colors it comes in. There are 3 different huds an ombre hud, solids, or patterns for however you want to wear it. So get out get shopping and stop in at Shiny Shabby to try out the July romper for yourself.

For Macro Monday's "Broken" Theme. Thought I'd combine a little "Intentional Blur" with "Egg". And with a catchy tune. In German we are calling a song which you can't get out of your mind an "Ohrwurm" = earworm.
A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone!
An early morning commuter train heads into the station in Newcastle, Australia, in a photo now dated by the passage of time. The train line has been torn up, the corridor turned over to developers, and trams now run on the adjacent streets. It's called progress, but I have other words for this kind of urban vandalism and conversion of public assets to private commercial advantage.
This morning getting out of work still dark. You have to be in the right spot the right time:)
Please view large.
This beauty showed up this morning. Unfortunately it was dark and cloudy so not the best photo. Hoping for another chance on a sunny day.

Every morning I leash up Kenzie the pup and we take a walk along a trail that's just down the road. Along the way we pass Hirschman's Pond. There is very short path that leads down to the bank. Kenzie always stops at this junction and refuses to budge unless I take her down to the water. Once there she sits and stares at the view for several minutes, as do I. After several minutes of this, we return to the main trail and finish our walk. I truly believe she loves the beauty of this spot, but more likely she's looking for the geese, ducks, or the occasional otter that inhabit the pond. None were present on this morning--just the quiet lush reflections of the forest on the still water.

Beaches of the Central Coast #36 of #49.
Dragged myself out of bed at 430am this morning for a sunrise at Pebbly Beach. I use an app called Alpenglow which gives a simplified forecast for sunsets and sunrises at any given location. It just rates them graphically as poor, fair, good, great etc. It told me todays would be great. Alpenglow you owe me 3 hours sleep!! It was very cloudy and overcast pretty much the whole time, except this small moment when the sun came flooding through a break in the clouds and bathed the sand in gold. Made it the rip worth it. Well, it was worth it anyway, any sunrise is good no matter what the weather, and any beach is good , any time :)
Have a great weekend !
