Shortly after this capture the sun broke through. Lee little stopper for smoother water. And I almost forgot 3 stops hard grad for the sky just above the horizon line. Thank you Paul for sharing some of your sublime techniques!

Fog and the sun rising can provide a nice opportunity to capture a scene. This picture of the tug boat slowly moving through the fog was taken a number of years ago in the Greek Isles. I just rediscovered the image in my archives and re-edited it.

Pretty much the same scenario as in the last photo. The sunbeams were brilliant.

Good morning!

The morning sun illuminates columns at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts.

The sun fights with the fog this morning in January. But the hoarfrost remains unimpressed.

Another lovely sunrise, I ventured out in the cold this morning to walk the dog with a bad head & cold I nearly didn't bring the camera but left the tripod at home. A quick capture as the sun shone through my neighbour's garden on my walk back home..
