A mother grizzly and her cub had just finished eating a salmon carcass in the tall grasses by the water's edge, and the silvery-coloured cub, which had been mostly hidden in the grass, came out to the water's edge, as if to look for more salmon. Chilko Lake, BC.

I love the chaos of the desert year round, and when the spring colors hit, to my mind it can be the best place in the world.

This is Ben More on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. There is no higher mountain further South on the British Isles. I took this from a passing bus. I really should get off the bus and take some proper. static shots. The mountain looks like the side profile of a giant face lying down and facing skywards.
No more pain (no more pain)
No more game (no more game, messin' with my mind)
No drama, no more in my life (no more drama in my life, no one's gonna make me hurt again)
No more tears (no more tears, I'm tired of cryin every night)
No more fears (no more fears, I really don't wanna cry)
No drama, no more in my life (no more drama in my life, I don't ever wanna hurt again)
Wanna speak my mind, wanna speak my mind.
Signature Body "Davis" at the Mainstore.
Cropped image edited in Fujifilm raw converter and Acros R film simulation. This is a freak event lasting only two minutes: the sunlight reflected on the inside of a window handle and projected on to the window frame. "More Light!" are allegedly the last words Goethe spoke.
What more to expect on the last day of this successful trip? Not expecting much more, we wanted to check out what the Sidi Kacem region had to offer, before heading to the airport. This time, it was Eurorailer and his sharp eye announcing "something green" when passing the station of Sidi Mbarek Rdom. Turns out nez cassé 1302 had broken down and needed to be evacuated. We quickly found a spot just north of the station and waited. Saw some other trains, a herd of sheep crossing the tracks followed by a shepherd, before finally DF 116 showed up around the corner. That was it, we got our long-desired-for "CC72000" running on Moroccon rails.

Portrait of Sir Thomas More by Hans Holbein the Younger (1527)
A rare opportunity to photograph this painting which is part of the Frick Collection where photography is not allowed. The painting is currently on display in a Holbein exhibit at the Morgan Library.
Messing about with exposure and even Monochrome to get something a little different.
These birds allow for lots of experimentation.
Believe yourself more.........

Another shot from my trip to Finnish Lapland with some Aurora Borealis. I was very lucky to have witnessed them on multiple occasions back in 2023. This was captured near lake Munajärvi, which is not far from Levi, Finland. For a moment you forget even the outside temperature when the northern lights start to glow. But only for a short moment.
I don't talk to flowers, they talk to me and I gladly listen with my eyes!
Shimmering in silky tones I discovered these, a mix if white and pink I had NEVER seen before!
The petals look 'waxy' but feel silky soft!
The peony was originally introduced as medicine.
In fact, its ancient Japanese name "Ebisugusuri" literally means ‘medicine from China’.
However, due to its beautiful and now mostly double blooms, in time, many decorative varieties were developed. In Japanese society, it was seen both as a medicine and a source of beauty.
THANKS for ALL your comments and visits, so appreciated.
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)
