p.s. have not seen the film since the 70's, it was found with traded art and posters in my garden shack. In spite of the atmospheric changes the films were in remarkably good condition; they were kept in a metal ammunition container we used to buy at army surplus stores in the 70'

How do I do this??
Minute amounts of water, windfall samples - organic and mineral - are collected from the very landscape depicted within each picture - and chemically bonded with the film over 12 months. The result: a developed film and unedited, printed images that are somewhere between a classic photographs & a totally abstract image, depicting the interaction between fundamental chemical elements present at each place & time, representing a more visceral and literal experience of being present in landscapes in a constant state of natural or unnatural flux.

This image is a result of a sudden error on my computer as I was saving this beetle jpg-picture in photoshop. The mosaic of colored fragments that occurred is like a modern painting. I kept the error-image and added on the original picture (smal, twisted picture) of the beetle.

Louis Althusser hésitant sur le seuil de la Datcha....dans l'impossibilité de choisir entre le tonneau de Sartre et la rue d'Ulm, le Comité central et les structuralistes. La Datcha, nom commun, des résidences d'été de ces effroyables salopards qu'étaient les hiérarques soviétiques ? Avec Lévi-Strauss, Lacan Foucault se caressant le crâne en signe d'interminable et inutile méditation, Barthes en loufiat tous ridicules, et déphasés, et condamnés...
Le tableau est une charge contre les cinq. Il met tous les grands esprits du moment dans le même sac d'une pensée coupée du monde, frileuse, sans courage. Fureur contre l'intelligence pour rien et son emphatique inutilité. Jeunes gens magnifiques rappelant nos mandarins, ceux d'hier et ceux d'aujourd'hui, à l'ordre de la vraie pensée et de ses risques.
