Colors, Textures, and Brushstrokes, 2024

Just before sunrise each day I set off to walk along the beach from Whitby to Sandsend. Holidaymakers leave many things after the weekend but this monday walk gave a nice surprise. Whoever made these works you have my admiration. Thank you.

This creepy egg lady sat outside the window of my room and begin to haunt my mind by the end of the week.

A work by the Portuguese artist Pedro Cabrita Reis. The tilt effect is mine.

Monumental sculpture installed on plaza at MOCA. Its full actual name is "Chas' Stainless Steel, Mark Thompson's Airplane Parts, About 1000 Pounds of Stainless Steel Wire, Gagosian's Beverly Hills Space".

Syndecdoche by Byron Kim - the full title of this piece includes the names of all the people represented in it by a rectangle of their exact skin tone. I was attracted to these warm colours before I knew what it was all about. Now I do know, I'm fascinated to see how many different shades he observed!

Inside San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

Reds and greens, opposite colours on the colour wheel create bold, stunning image. Last photo taken, and do not re bear the name of the artist. This is one of my favorites.

I walked into the kitchen and saw this work of art waiting for me.
