At the international exhibition "ceramic art London 2022" (Central Saint Martins, Granary Square). Sculpture by James Evans. There was obviously some kind of iron mixed into the clay. To me, his sculptures trigger associations of the decay and, hence, the transitoriness, of our grand technological structures. So, what we are looking at is the debris of the Anthropocene.

Architecture – Modern
This is another collection of buildings (some as photographed), glass panels, abstract shapes formed from buildings. Most are in London, although they could be any city. I have not named any building, nor have attempted to find Architects or Designers. Some I have just altered things to my own taste, nothing is sacrosanct, nothing lasts for ever, new ideas quickly become old as will these images be the moment I post them. Please enjoy.
Neo Bankside Pavilion C (Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners) on the left and the Tate Modern Extension (Herzog and Meuron) on the right.
Visitors to the Tate Modern 10th floor public viewing area can see right into the apartments of Pavilion C and the residents went to court to try to prevent this happening (they failed).

Black smoke used to come out of the chimneys, then air intake pipes for the condensing boiler were installed in the chimneys... doesn't look great, but it saves heating costs and gas (which is actually becoming scarce now). Sure, then you can also put a G5 mast next to it... so what...

“In sharp contrasts to traditional Art, Modern Art does not hide the fact that it is something made and produced: on the contrary, it underscores the fact.”

Thorbecke was the founder of Dutch parliamentary democracy in 1848. The new constitution brought direct elections and ministerial responsibility, extended parliamentary rights and introduced the possibility of dissolution of parliament. This constitution would eventually make the Netherlands a modern state (scource: wikipedia)
