When I was in Zurich for a few days at the beginning of July, I photographed this modern office building in the Seefeld. After equalising the perspective, I coloured the seagull flying by red. After all, the building is on Färberstrasse.
Trompe Loeil has come out with the Modern Hensley Cottage for faMESHed this round..so many wonderful features in this home from the large open windows with shutters (open and close with the click of your mouse) , to the gorgeous rock fireplaces on both levels. If you don't have a kitchen set, never fear! There is a version that includes a kitchen, so you can just move right in and get to cooking! The upper floor has a beautiful sprawling outside deck perfect for entertaining...I decided to feature that space so you can see how beautiful and roomy it is! Pictured:

In a modern polder landscape there are more wind turbines than trees. To me it feels a little bit over the top .....
Cheers!

Another in the modern communication series. As seen on a walk.

The same day, the same rainy weather, just a different place: Luxembourg City and a modern castle from the 21st century. Which one is more beautiful, which one is more sustainable? The future will show.

Stained glass window commemorating Winston Churchill and the 50th anniversary of his death (he died in 1965). In the small church of St Martin in Bladon - the place where he is buried.
The window shows the man himself, but also things that were important to him, including dogs, tanks and polo. If you think the text at the bottom breaks of at a weird place, that's because it is actually a double window and the name continues on the next one.

"Stobnica Castle" is a modern structure, the construction of which began in 2015. It is a facility located on an artificial island on a lake protected under the "Natura 2000" program. In 2018, the construction was revealed and caused controversy. By the decision of the Court in Poznań in 2021, the construction was suspended, but in 2022 the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw overturned it. Construction is still ongoing.

W 2018 roku budowa została upubliczniona i wywołała kontrowersje.
Architecture – Modern
This is another collection of buildings (some as photographed), glass panels, abstract shapes formed from buildings. Most are in London, although they could be any city. I have not named any building, nor have attempted to find Architects or Designers. Some I have just altered things to my own taste, nothing is sacrosanct, nothing lasts for ever, new ideas quickly become old as will these images be the moment I post them. Please enjoy.
