My old Schubert specs

Heart bokeh created using a card over the lens with a heart shape cut into it.

My every day carry standing up in a pocket of my camera bag. Fifth century Saxons were often times buried with a shield over their face and a knife in their belt. This would probably be the packet of grave goods that would sum up my early twenty-first century life. I used a Canon FD 100mm f4 Macro lens set to f16. This is a focus stack of five images. HMM! Thanks to everyone stopping by to look, like and maybe comment.

Macro Monday

May 23th 2022

The maximum width of the paper bird is 4.5 cm.

Not really fitting for the "gathering dust" theme, starting into the 12th year of my Toy Project, as I've last shown it only two months ago, but it's a structure that's been around for some years now.

I've built the first version of this back in 2017, this one os from January 2022. I just changed the lower panel to read MM for today's Macro Monday "translucent" theme.

Yes, the window is exactly 76mm tall, a smidge under 3"

Small pieces of glass polished by the sea (Mediterranean Sea in the present case). It takes 20 to 40 years to get this texture and shape.

Sea glass - Weathered glass - Natural frosted glass

The smallest piece is 8 mm long and the largest 25 mm.

A sweater that I'm knitting for my young grandson.

"GAME PIECES"

This week's entry for Macro Monday. Quite similar to last week but with a dash of colour.

My first explored photo! (Featured 23/11/15)

Ouch, I find this really hurts my eyes.

I remember playing with Gonks as a child and had no idea they were still around. This is Gonk hair from my granddaughter's Gonk pencil top.
