Years ago, kids would fall out of trees trying to collect this stuff and sell it for $5, Now no one is kissing each other under it.
Here is a string of mistletoe berries/seeds deposited onto a branch after the Mistletoebird had finished with it (digested it). If the branch were to be a live branch one of them may have attached itself via a haustorium in order to nourish itself and grow into a mistletoe plant which would flower and fruit and feed again the Mistletoebird.
