"Give me life, give me love
Scarlet angel from above
Not so low, not so high
Keep it perfectly disguised..."
Lately I didn't feel like taking pictures, just a random capture...

This beautiful Robin was very content to perch on my husband's hand for some seed. Very trusting and such a wonderful nature encounter.
CN L584 is slowly making its way northbound into London with an awesome trio of CN 4138, CN 7038, and CN 4717. At 19h40, they would normally still be in St. Thomas or if they were quick, be partway up the Talbot spur between St. Thomas and London. To be done their work at Ingredion and heading back in London is unheard of. Normally they aren't allowed to lift loaded frame cars at Formet in St. Thomas until 1900, but this day they must have done it around 1800. The result is an extremely rare appearance in golden hour. The side effect is that they weren't allowed back in London yard, as the yard was busy with other trains. The yardmaster noted that they were about 2 hours earlier than normal.

Whenever I am in the woods, I look for mushrooms, because, hey, it’s hard to have too many mushrooms.
It's the miracle of christmas that is repeated every year when, for the reflection of the christmas lights, the water of the river Sacco takes the colors blue, silver and gold.

Carcassonne is the "Cité", this very famous and extraordinary architectural monument, unique in Europe, this miracle of stones on a hill, looming over the surrounding vineyards of Minervois or Carcassès, the Black Mountain or the sinuous outlines of the Corbières with towers and ramparts that are centuries old....
An impressive and amazing visit...!

"When I see the miracle of a shell, I know that God and nature must surely touch hands."
Yes, a perfect shell... a perfect miracle. Yes, I brought it home even though I said that I would bring home no more shells. I lied.
My hibiscus pots came in for the winter, but I'm happy to say they are still blooming beautifully! I had to take a close-up of the center of this one, it reminded me of a tiny rose.
I am not very good at making pictures in forests, but when there is something reflecting than I see opportunities to do something with trees. This scene is also from Canada. In the village where my sister lives (Brighton) there is a little park called Proctor Park. The scene is from here.
Sorry guys for not having a close up shot. I took this around 6.30 PM yesterday. Bcoz of not having a tripod was not able to try a sharp and close-up shot.

After a tour of Loughrigg Tarn in the rain I headed over into Little Langdale and I experienced a miracle, the sun came out...
This piece of art is called "Mirakel" (in English "Miracle") and is made by artist Gea Sibola Hansen.
It is a tribute to women, motherhood, those who give a new life to the world.
It can be seen in Ängelsberg sculpture park.
Taken on Fathers Day....my dad is helped with his dinner by his wife.
Only a week before this he was in hospital with a serious infection. We couldn't make any sense from his slurred speech and thought he may have had a stroke. We had almost given up hope as he was on the brink. It seems that the antibiotics he was on had given him this adverse reaction. Once the medication was changed he was back to normal.
Happy Fathers Day dad.
Connie did say that I should be posting more pics of people....
