Hello, my name is Miko! Are you looking for an easy walking companion? If so, you have to meet me! I walk so well on a leash that all the shelter volunteers are amazed. They're so used to excited dogs pulling their arms off that I'm a welcome surprise and an enjoyable walk together. I am such a lovebug. I LOVE to cuddle on the couch and kibble ears (kibble = kisses + nibbles). I am extremely food motivated and really smart, which makes training a fun activity for everyone. I am a quick learner and I pick up new things pretty fast. I also listen very well, especially when there is a treat reward involved. I am a sweet, friendly and mellow boy with an affectionate and loving personality. I have a handsome brindle coat and kind, soulful eyes. I'm a 3-year-old, neutered male mutt in need of a home. I weigh 61 lbs. I really like people and spending time with them. I'm pretty laid back and like to just go-with-the-flow. I get along well with cats and with other dogs and enjoy playing with toys. But I'm much more interested in being with people who love me. Now I'll tell you about a couple of my quirks. I can and will climb or go under a chain link fence to greet people walking by. I do best in a 6-foot privacy fenced yard or no fence at all and I'm walked on leash for exercise and potty time. I get along fine with other dogs when properly introduced so long as there are no bones, no rawhides, no chew chips, etc. around. I am possessive of those types of toys when around other dogs. I'm absolutely great with people though! Give me some pets and let's go for a walk. We'll be besties for life. Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115.
