Molly, our poodle, has been out of sorts since Miko died. I thought I would try to capture her mood as she lay in her bed today. Molly is also getting old and has some trouble hearing and seeing, but she manages well just the same. But when we see her looking around and wanting attention from us we know she is looking for Miko. We miss him too!
Most afternoons, parents took their children to the park to play. Most days it was Dad's in the park while Mom shopped in the near by stores.

One of our pups from Larkin's litter is back to stay for a week. He has his mother's eyes! And his sire's lovely wide muzzle. He's a super biddable and responsive little chap too, so fun to have around and doesn't get into much trouble (at least not so far).
This is Miko, my father's cat, taken just before Christmas, in December 2023. My brother's kiddo gave him his name, and they greatly enjoyed their company.
Unfortunately, dear Miko has gone to greener fields where he's enjoying all the food he can think of. He's been such an adorable and friendly cat.

So, we finally got to a computer that was capable of running the Spore Creature Creator. We've only used the free trial edition at this point, but, as expected, Sophia and Enzo created a series of interesting creatures. See some of them in this set. My personal favorites are Whale, Human and Pickle (my name for that one).
Balloon is my favorite of all – in no small part because The Red Balloon was one of my favorite films while growing up and is still in my top ten. I haven't seen this one yet though.
Spore Creature Creator is now highly recommended by us and we are all looking forward to playing the game Spore (more here) when it is released in September. By then we will have upgraded our operating system and should have no problem.

manufacturing method as 50 years ago.
He is the last celluloid doll workman in Japan now.

Miko and Yuko - twins. Their parents were killed in an accident, and now they are brought up in a family of Professor van der Heide and his clone Genma. In twins of different nature, the first bitch, the second a good girl, but they love each other and their little chihuahua Poncho.
Their lives are getting better.
