I'm performing here on the first night of the 2010 Spring Arts Walk (Friday, April 23) @ 7pm & 9pm.

It is a poetry performance piece. It is not performance poetry.

No matter how tangled and overgrown the woods can get, the spaces within a little old junkyard are often more open. Consequence of all the scurrying activity, many generations of tiny animals who turned our rusty history to home. By this point, they've made more use of these bodies than our kind ever did. Most of us wouldn't want to live in a car – but the littlest creatures consider them great caves and palaces. Especially with the roof, hood, and trunk still intact to keep the weather out. Maybe you can hear that gully-washing rattling just thinking of it, pelting like pebbles on an empty tin can. It's in my head like my memories of shacks shingled straight to the uninsulated rafters. Nothing to dull the echo of impact, drops hitting hard in a storm, rain coming down with twigs and pine cones. Every time I pull up on the roadside, watching water rushing down my windshield, I feel that same old wonder rising.

Matter Reality 1st year SSoA event on The Moor in Sheffield, 22/02/13

This image is of the open star cluster M46 in Puppis. The cluster includes perhaps 500 stars, many of which are quite bright and quite young. Open clusters are the descendent stars of a nebula where stars are being created; this one is relatively young -- probably about 300 million years old. It is located about 5,400 light years away, and is receding from us at the speed of 41.4 kn/sec.

Just below center is the conspicuous planetary nebula NGC2438, which lies closer (about 2,900 light years) and is unrelated to the cluster. A planetary nebula is the gaseous shell that is comprised of ejected matter from a star that has gone nova. The central star in the nebula is a 17.7 magnitude white dwarf, which at 74,700 degrees Centigrade is one of the hottest stars known. That star is the largest star visible within the nebula, slightly below the visual center.

Mine Over Matter with R. Dominguez win the Hudson Stakes

Despite being in the middle of a pandemic I and many others felt it important to attend this Black Lives Matters Protest.

The Bury St Edmunds for Black Lives event was held on Angel Hill.

Protests were organised around the world in response to the death of a black man George Floyd in Minneapolis, who died after a police officer knelt on his neck.

The event included a nine minute silence to mark the length of time police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd's neck.

As you can see attendees were urged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing

This is another of my street photography projects this time focussing on Protests and demonstrations observed in the street.

The documenting of the protest and the people is my object . I am just a witness and by taking images it does not indicate that I support the subject matter of any demonstration.
