Mason passed away on November 15, 2010. While walking to school he was struck and killed by a school bus. Mason was in my Junior class and is definatly missing during our senior year. Masons mother is single and Mason was her only child. Mason did not have life insurence so me and 2 other students jumped into action. We created memoral t-shirts, 1" bracletes, and had donation jars everywhere. We wanted to lift some of the financial burden off Mason's mother. We raised over $7,000.

Originally known as the Mason City & Clear Lake Railway, the Iowa Traction Railway is the last electric interurban railroad left in the United States. Founded in 1886, it has been a freight-only carrier since 1937. It was purchased by a General Motors executive in 1960 and renamed the Iowa Terminal Railway. It was sold and renamed as the Iowa Traction Railway in 1987. It continues to serve a number of customers on Mason City's south side and interchanges with Union Pacific and Canadian Pacific trackage.

Pictured here is one of the Baldwin-Westinghouse steeple-cab locomotives still in use by the railway.

This is the Mason County Parade that was held on July 11, 2009. This is an annual event at Mason, Texas and is held in conjunction with the Rodeo Weekend. The parade starts near the courthouse and circles the courthouse and then continues on through the town. This is the prelude to the Great American Jackass Race. Lots of floats and spectators.

Mason and Becky...And Mason is actually LAUGHING!

In the corpse position on my yoga mat. Except it can't quite lay completely flat.

Mason is 150lb Bull Mastiff—despite his large size, he loves curling up on our living room ottoman.

Mason is a boxer/shepherd mix, and a total cutie. Looks like Cisco, too.
