Since 1912 we have been offering the traveling public the only free roadside view of the awesome Tallulah Gorge, right from our covered, overlook porch. Once you take in the beauty and grandeur, step into our shop and revisit a time when sodas were in glass bottles and toys were powered by a child's imagination. You will find many things to delight your fancy, things that have been delighting people for generations. See our vast collection of:
Reproduction tin toys, nostalgic gifts and souvenirs, mountain playthings, regional books and hiking guides, candles, jewelry, cabin accessories, knives, rustic twig furniture by Don Bundrick, the ever popular Burt's Bees products, SallyeAnder Homemade Soaps and much more!
While shopping and enjoying the view, grab an RC and a Moonpie, an old fashion Coke in a glass bottle, or a refreshing cone of ice cream. Out on the porch, take in the scenery, swing in one of Don's creations, and see what travelers have been enjoying for years!

One of the small touches that really illustrates that someone really thought this through is the inclusion of a rare earth magnet.
Adding this to the smaller allen wrench makes installing your board MUCH easier.
I love collecting fridge magnets from my travels and friends also buy them for me. Learn more about this on my blog - www.Lubsy1.blogspot.com

Trying to create more organic (curvy and less reliant on a dodecahedral base) forms. Got a new batch of magnets today. Im not a fan of the gold ones but I do like having three different colors. Helps to differentiate the form. Tends to get lost if you use nothing but silver.

sticky9 magnets giveaway on the blog! » blog.cardboardcities.co.uk/2014/05/colourful-sticky9-magn...
These little but potent magnets are so easy to make, it can get rather addicting. I made several sets with themes tailored to friends and family's interests and lives. I will be giving these as gifts for the holidays, and am considering making them as wedding favors for my wedding in July.
Many people buy Altoid-style tins to put these little guys in, but I have some other ideas. I don't want to spend the money for the tins, plus my environmentally-conscious self worries that people will just toss the tins out after putting the magnets to use. Whenever I can, I try to recycle objects around me for my projects, rather than buy more stuff and add to over-consumption. Besides, it's more challenging, and often cheaper, to come up with alternative creative ideas! I will be sure to share any (good!) ideas I come up with for wrapping/presenting the magnets.
This set is for a friend who often travels to Japan and is very fond of Japanese culture and art.
Stay tuned to my new blog for more ideas, projects and thoughts!
Magnet Kitchens' Linton is a design that combines the best of both contemporary and traditional styling, with its classic yet simplistic painted timber finish.
480 magnets. Each 20-magnet pentagon has a 30-magnet pentagonal pyramid mounted on it. This is the standard 50-magnet pentagon unit. Magnet poles are aligned parallel to the perimeter of each pentagon. Adjacent pentagons have poles aligned in the same direction at the edges (as evidenced by square instead of triangular patterns at the edges). Each pentagon is mounted rotated by two magnets, leaving triangular holes at each vertex.
