Looking close on Friday theme Magnets. This little Magnetic tire gauge hangs on my refrigerator. The name on it is Slime. I'm not sure what it's advertising. I looked it up. It's a tube sealant.

I'll take some stuff off and add some stuff tomorrow

The tiny magnets are 3mm but very strong !!

I made some sort of sculpture with them.

Kaiser surrounded by his 'ladies' Pixie and Milu. They are all looking down as Big Ray has just walked into the living room oh oh. I do find it amusing that dog and cat owners who do not run a 'strict' household inevitably never get to see their furniture as it is always covered by a blanket or throw.

Nothing on this weekend so we will see where the wind blows us - quite literally as it we have high winds here at the moment.

At last we know who has been responsible for minifigures being glued to magnets in recent years!

Revisited - while shooting the neighbouring Jin Mao Tower I noted that the ceiling came so low that the SWFC's top created a wake in the clouds. A previous night shot of this sculpture and the SWFC was done in a rather hazy night, creating completely different cloud/sky/light effects.

The actual name of this tall sculpture by Liu Jianhua is "Global Magnet" and the Chinese name is just one word: "磁" (cí ="Magnet") - it stands 17.5 m tall in front of the SWFC. ( For further detail please refer to the description plate posted below.)

If like attracts like, I’m a real weirdo.

I have unpleasant interactions at the grocery store on the regular, but today was something special. I felt like a weirdo magnet, to include an employee following me around the store with a dry mop and making intense eye contact. If I wasn’t such a cheapskate, I think I’d start having my groceries delivered to avoid people.

Overall dress, Dickies. Top, Forever 21 (thrifted). Sandals, Birkenstock (thrifted and gifted). Earrings, Crafty Storz. Necklace, swap.
