This is a small decorative bottle made of exotic wood I found in a flea market. I dont know what kind of wood. Anyway, I thought it looked cool, so I bought it for only a few dollars.
Please check the link for my other Cross I made 5 years ago, and very valuable information for its use,

I have this Cherry burl for 31 years and many other pieces,
Finally I went in my garage work shop, it really felt great,
One is on a different world working in the shop all alone,
This one has Turquoise crashed inlay,
Finished with Walnut oil and hand polished and buffed with Carnauba wax.
I don't think I've ever done a shot only from the knees down but I had to make an exception for these amazing boots from Azoury that you can get from today at Cosmopolitan

Playing With Light....
Christmas Eve Karen and I bundled up and made our way out into the falling snow, our plan was to capture some light painting shots of the snow fall and to try to be creative in the midst of a lockdown. this shot of Karen illuminating snowflakes falling in the park was a lot of fun to play with. I will post more shots of our adventure in the following days. keep posted. ..

Made it to the waterfall!
Not a lot of water in the becks at the moment while in this drought. But a bit of an oasis gathering in the pool below the small waterfall just along from the old mill.

I didn't start participating in the weekly challenges till October of this year so I chose to do one of the challenges that I missed earlier this year. #MacroMondays #Redux2017 #MyFavoriteThemeoftheYear
Never say never - I thought I'd never be able to capture a kingfisher, but now that one shows up in my favorite Berlin park occasionally, it only took some luck to spot him sitting high up in a tree by the water vs. darting around like a flying jewel....
The original and best of the Forth Bridges this is the railway crossing opened in 1890 by the Prince of Wales (Edward VII).
It was once the longest single-span cantilever bridge in the world, though now pushed into 2nd place by one in Quebec.
It is now classed as a Unesco World Heritage Site and is probably one of the most iconic structures in Scotland.
I made a visit to the Gwash Trout Farm Osprey hide at Rutland this morning leaving home at 2 am for a 4 am start so a real early one. Its a great set up but unfortunately we only had one visit from Osprey 28 so photographically it was a bit disappointing given the lack of action/visits. We did however have a real treat with some squabbling male Kingfishers right in front of the hide throughout the morning which relieved the boredom a tad.
