"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos ... ruined dreams ... this wasted land."

Mad Greek restaurant in Baker, San Bernardino County, California. Always worth a stop for great road trip food in a fun environment. The Greek's fresh strawberry shakes are to die for, especially when it's 107 degrees outside!

The Band - Mad Waltz (Sketch Track For "The Well")
She killed the light
And she dropped the glove
She said: "Are you looking for trouble?"
"I'm looking for love."
This shot is from last May's trip to Colorado and Idaho. The Mad River Canoe was found nestled by some trees near Idaho's beautiful Lake Cascade.
Thanks to everyone for your visits, comments, favs, and invites.
Another shot of my Mad Max Mobile. Sadly, I could not manage to put barbed wire pieces on the wheels, but oh well.
"You're a scavenger, Max. You're a maggot. Did you know that? You're living off the corpse of the old world."

The vehicle in the background is a slightly modified original 1973 Matchbox truck with a custom bull bar and trailer. I got this toy car (a Ford LTS tanker from the Matchbox 'Super Kings' series) when I was a child; it was a gift from my beloved grandfather and it was the coolest truck I ever had ... and in some way it feels a bit like I'm perpetuate his memory within this photograph. So, once again, thank you very much, grandpa ... ;)

Mad Max Prams
Collected together from heaps of scrap and junk from Urban Furniture Perspective, Mad Max Prams were created through inspiration from the Mad Max films franchise. Originally built for the purpose of the Ferndown Pram Race to raise money for charity, the Mad Max Prams will now roam freely around Bournemouth in search of fuel and other road warriors, in the wasteland more commonly known as ‘The Gardens’.
Mad Men, that is.
This was actually a shoot that I was commissioned for by a REAL ESTATE COMPANY. Coolest real estate company ever, yes?
"And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed ... men like Max ... the warrior Max."
