Macro Friday/ Kitchen Equipment

The flowers on this tree have a beautiful perfume Pittosporum Undulatum.

I found some light mesh in the garden for this week's theme, the challenge then was how to light it. The t light candle came to mind and I used a reflector to send a little light onto the mesh.

Used the macro lens to capture these water drops on the leaf. Just love this time of year for pictures with the colors and weather.

Algae on my greenhouse glass.

Flower Plate 5 is a macro photograph of the back of an anemone flower on a light box. It is a part of a tribute to the artists who created 1000 flower plates.

"Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy." - Anne Frank. There was a tree that she could catch a glimpse of from an attic window in the place where they were in hiding. She managed to find beauty while immersed in the depths of ugliness. This is a leaf from a huge Water Oak that is in our yard. It's not the same kind of tree as that which Anne viewed but I think she would still see the beauty.

Poppy macro

Did you know that a poppy is a part of the Papaver family? We see so many of them, I just thought, well, let's join and do a flower upload!
