Macro Mondays - Trinkets

you wouldn't sit for a month :-)

Theodore Roosevelt

The slogan 'The buck stops here' is a promise that responsibility will not be passed on to anyone else. What's the origin of the phrase 'The buck stops here'? U.S. president Harry S. Truman had a sign on his desk with 'The buck stops here' inscribed on it.

NBC News’ Kristin Welker asked the president(Trump) if he is to blame for the lag in testing. “No, I don’t take responsibility at all,” he responded before quickly moving to his tried and true strategy: blame Obama. “We were given rules, regulations, and specifications from a different time.”

But that simply isn’t true. No remaining Obama-era regulation has prevented the administration from rolling out tests.

VOTE!! RESIST!! kick our president out of office at the polls!! stay safe and well :-)

I don’t know how we came across this rock exactly as my father used to collect interesting lumps of rock. We have granite from Cornwall which was going to be my first choice but the I remembered about this copper containing rock. There are circular holes in the rock so I assume that there must be a volcanic element to it tough I cannot be sure.

Thanks for stopping HMM

Captured for Macro Mondays theme: tradition.. HMM everyone!

My family celebrates our Viking heritage on Christmas eve with traditional Swedish food and drink.

Glass cut flower holder with some zany lighting. The object itself is a slightly drab slightly funeral thing so my flashlights and colour intrusion are either an abomination or an inspiration. I’m m kinda happy with this however as a macro subject it may be a bit too abstracted.
