Happy Macro Monday!
Was working on some still life images this weekend - a little to cold and windy outside.
Macro Mondays "Holes " Theme
A candle would shine through the star shaped holes but ours has Ivy and mosses, the birds perch on there too.

Emeraude de Chivor ink: To the fleeting glance the ink appears green. But under varied light and close observation, one finds great nuance with many colors, facets, and flecks of gold present all joining together to make One (word).

Enjoyed taking macro shots of this Veronica flower the other day. Been going through difficult times lately [don't we all?] and I thank the good Lord that my hobby is a real blessing to me in taking my mind off things. It's such good therapy ! [ha ha - when it goes right!]
Springs out of a rust, gutted old car. I am guessing it is the seat although the car is in such a state of decay that it is hard to tell.
Hastily taken shot this week, didn't want to spend too long in darkened room with these three :-( HMM
This was another photo I took for the Macro Mondays group where the theme was "April Fools". I didn't feel I did justice to what I was trying to achieve with the image so instead I went and made magic with half a savoy cabbage! I thought I'd put this photo up now though rather than allow it to languish in my archives gathering dust for eternity as it has a little merit I think. Hope you think so too. :-)
Macro image of a cucumber. If you look closely you can see white things inside the part that seems to be some kind of seed. This is just an ordinary slice but the patterns in it sure are beautiful!
