Seen in Boston's Seaport District making a delivery. This M2 belongs to Performance Food Service, a large food distributor and supplier for restaurants.
London Country AEC Matador M2 (running on trade plates, but formerly registered WYC 736H), attends to Dunton Green's RB66 on Eccleston Bridge, Victoria on 23 March 1979.
Scanned from a recently acquired Agfachrome slide.
Taken in READING Berkshire where my Son is at University. I rushed round with him to catch the last rays of Autumn Sun where possible. Last couple from my 1965 LEICA M2 loaded with 02/1998 dated Kodak T-max 100 found in fridge and processed in a new mix of Crawley's Formula 'FX-15 Acutol-S' 1+3 for 15.5 mins. 1989 50mm f2 Summicron
My M2 is back from the service of Mr. Will van Manen. First roll is already loaded (Ektar 100). After 2 years of struggle with light leaks finally I feel confident that it is fixed. Cannot wait for the first results.
After a mis-delivery, constant annoying of postal workers, and other companies in my suite, finally it arrived.
This M2 Black paint, was not an original black paint that Leica produced, it's unconfirmable whether or not it was factory re-painted. It doesn't have the markings of the Japanese craft painters and it was a factory option to repaint this back in 1966 when it was produced.
It doesn't matter, as it's mine and I can't wait to use it. It is literally, the smoothest Leica i've ever used.
