Happy Fence Friday!

My beautiful granddaughter is taking a photography class and is working on converting an existing picture to give it a fall presence. It got me to thinking that fall colors will be here soon and then remembered this picture I shot in Colorado two years ago but never processed it. Better late than never, hope you all like it.

This was processed this to give it a soft focus to create a dreamy effect. The sharp image just didn't convey the vision I saw in the field.

Costa Nova striped houses are brightly colored, wooden fishermen's houses called palheiros.

Originally used for storing fishing equipment, they were painted in vibrant stripes to help fishermen spot them on foggy days and to identify their houses.

These structures were later converted into summer residences and are now a local tourist attraction - and here we tourist are.
