A friend of mine told me about several long eared owls he had seen recently. So I met up with him to see if we could find them again. Sure enough we were able to see 3. spent a ton of time trying to find these owls for years and found my first last year. To see 3 in one place was pretty surreal. The crazy thing was he had seen 7 the day before.
I am experimenting here with Luminar's sky replacement. I thought this sky gave the image a really nice mood. Please let me know what you think.
Eagle image processed using Luminar Ai. Image was captured at high ISO and cropped. Mountains were added. Sky was replaced with another sky I captured recently. Noise reduction and other adjustments were made.
Since we can't go out and get new photos, editing old photos, like this one from a trip to the Toronto Zoo four years ago, will have to do.
Toned down the background and enhanced the detail in Luminar4.2
Image created with Midjourney that was altered with the Topaz Gigapixel AI plug-in, then the Exposure X6 plug-in (blow up), then the Luminar Neo plug-in (accent AI, noiseless, sharpen, smart contrast, dramatic, water enhancer, structure, small detail, medium detail, large detail, iris visibility, eye whitening, eye enhancement, skin, highlight contrast, midtone contrast, and shadow contrast adjustments), then the Exposure X7 plug-in (Fuji Reala effect), then the Luminar Neo plug-in (exposure adjustments), then AKVIS Arkworks (oil paint), then multiple edits with built-in Photoshop tools. Located in the heart of Trieste is the ancient Teatro Romano.
Dating back to the 1st Century AD it was built by Quintus Petronius Modestus, a statesman during the reign of Emperor Trajan.
The theatre could accommodate up to 3,500 spectators, and was built almost entirely of masonry, except for the stage, that was made of wood.
Over the centuries, the theater was increasingly hidden by houses and other buildings built over it. Considered lost, it was rediscovered in 1814 by the architect Pietro Nobile, but only in 1938 it was brought back to light, during the demolition of part of the old city.

🇬🇧 During our summer trip through Huesca we had a lot of storms. One of those nights I went to the church of San Pedro de Lárrede (Huesca – Spain). I thought it would blend well with the stormy sky creating a gloomy scene.

Family in rain. More AI art, this time from Midjourney, coupled with another AI image editing program, Luminar Neo, and another AI synthetic art program, Studio Artist 5.5. Is it art? Who made it? At this point I am but a reporter, using words and knobs and someone else's machine learning. Text prompt: mother 30 father 30 son 3 walking in rain umbrella noir. Then artificially painted as a type of sketch.
