Now that fall is upon us, it's a great time to hop in the car - like we can go visit people so, enjoy your own company during the pandemic to help flatten the curve. Backroads in rural Ontario have some of the most beautiful scenes especially since Mother Nature has taken her best crayons out of the box to start colouring the trees. Someone had posted "Mother Nature is about to show us how beautiful it is to let go" and seeing the vibrant colours of the trees I whole heartily agree.
Canon EOS 7D, Sigma 18-200 at f11 Camera RAW processed in Luminar 4 with AI Sky Replacement. I did replace the sky as the sky was "flat looking" not really much colour as we had tons of fog earlier and I thought that beauty blue sky with puffy white clouds would make this an even better capture.
These lakes near Drei Zinnen Hutte looked so enticing, that I went down there to take photos rather than relax like the rest of our group.
Day five was from Durrenstein Hutte/Rifugio Vallandro to Rifugio A. Locatelli/DreizinnenhĂŒtte, another big day of almost 20km with descents totalling 865m and ascents totalling 1237m.
After leaving the hut, we had a gentle climb to alpine meadows, then down a gully and an aided trail around Strudelkopf and steeply down to a main road which we crossed over before heading along route 102 and the long ascent up to Tre Cime di Lavaredo - the famous three peaks.

A shakuhachi (Japanese: ć°șć «, pronounced [ÉakÉŻhatÍĄÉi]) is a Japanese longitudinal, end-blown flute that is made of bamboo. The bamboo end-blown flute now known as the shakuhachi was developed in Japan in the 16th century and is called the fuke shakuhachi (æźćć°șć «). A bamboo flute known as the kodai shakuhachi (ć€ä»Łć°șć «, ancient shakuhachi) or gagaku shakuhachi (é æ„œć°șć «) was derived from the Chinese xiao in the Nara period and died out in the 10th century. After a long blank period, the hitoyogiri shakuhachi (äžçŻćć°șć «) appeared in the 15th century, and then in the 16th century, the fuke shakuhachi was developed in Japan. The fuke shakuhachi flourished in the 18th century during the Edo period, and eventually the hitoyogiri shakuhachi also died out. The fuke shakuhachi developed in Japan is longer and thicker than the kodai shakuhachi and has one finger hole less. It is longer and thicker than hitoyogiri shakuhachi and is superior in volume, range, scale and tone quality. Today, since the shakuhachi generally refers only to fuke shakuhachi, the theory that the shakuhachi is an instrument unique to Japan is widely accepted.

A single dandelion seed hanging precariously on the edge of a champagne glass. I took it a while back but wasn't too impressed. It was the amazing news story yesterday of the pair of neutron stars colliding that got me thinking about it again. Did a little tweaking in Luminar.
