Two pictures today inspired by the French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard. This one is conventional, but the next is a bit more of a flight of fancy.

This is the first of a series of three shots of me walking around an autumnal England. I love how creative Midjourney is here.

More experimentation with painting styles, this time with the inspiration being Phoebe Dynevor, the beautiful star of Bridgerton
After the rain
The trees line the lake hiking trail for the first mile.
I've been working on the yard area for days; a walk was welcome.
Nine, sadly empty, cup cake cases reflected onto perspex. Slight touch up in Luminar using an adjustment layer to enhance the brightness of the reflection.
Have a great Monday folks.
OK this is _not_ a photograph as such - please no flaming for my extensive use of Luminar's fairy dust in this one - I promise I won't do it too often :) - The moon itself was captured by me...

Sometimes if you throw a curve ball at Midjourney it can come up with some beautiful results. For this picture I asked it to come up with 'hair made out of sunbeams'. I love the result! I'll show another variation later today.

The second of my two pictures inspired by Fragonard. This is the one that's a bit surreal!

Another pair of pictures to compare today, this time of Lara Croft - enjoy!
Not real. Luminar Sky replacement test. Photo actually taken during day. You can make out the distant mountains aren’t masking the sky very well, but overall the Auto Sky replacement works pretty good for one click. The waves would also look very different under a long exposure.

Today I'll show you how Midjourney can come up with completely different results depending on whether or not you include Pixar prompts when you imagine the picture. Here I was trying to show myself as a cyborg, half woman and half machine. This is the Pixar version!
Luminar 4 is my go-to Windows photo processing software (also use GIMP and sometimes Darktable on Linux). Works great on JPEGs and on my Lumix G9 raw files. But it doesn’t work on my wife’s OMDS OM-1 raw ORF files, which is a pity. Need to use some (free) Adobe software to convert to DNG files. Sad to report, quality is lost (IMO). The JEPGs are better, shown here. Photography is a journey … unless you own an iPhone. Apple and flickr speak the same language. Riverstone Wetlands, Sugar Land, Texas. Now, if that third Ibis was only looking this way!
