first attempt of a low key prtrait, and again I had my daughter to pose for me :) strobist info: meike mk900 on the subjects left and slightly to the front and above triggered with meike MK-RC9.

I took this pic a while ago on a city tour in my hometown, where we could also take a closer look inside our beautiful town hall.

Just been reading some photo magazines and watching YouTube videos on a variety of techniques.
Strobist: Hand held Metz 58 @ 1/64 setting. Cactus V4 Trigger.
Self portrait so the gun is held in my right hand, or camera left.
Shutter speed 1/200. Background is just my white walled room.
Camera on tripod, fired with remote.

En esta fotografía utilicé una luz lateral en diagonal al lado izquierdo del rostro para producir la sombra en el otro extremo y así causar el efecto del lowkey. Al mismo tiempo subexpuse la toma y reduje el ISO para que ayudara a lograr este efecto de misticismo que se crea entre las partes oscuras e iluminadas.
