I'm still off work until January. One advantage for not taking a summer break this year I guess.
Just been reading some photo magazines and watching YouTube videos on a variety of techniques.
Strobist: Hand held Metz 58 @ 1/64 setting. Cactus V4 Trigger.
Self portrait so the gun is held in my right hand, or camera left.
Shutter speed 1/200. Background is just my white walled room.
Camera on tripod, fired with remote.
I took this pic a while ago on a city tour in my hometown, where we could also take a closer look inside our beautiful town hall.

En esta fotografía utilicé una luz lateral en diagonal al lado izquierdo del rostro para producir la sombra en el otro extremo y así causar el efecto del lowkey. Al mismo tiempo subexpuse la toma y reduje el ISO para que ayudara a lograr este efecto de misticismo que se crea entre las partes oscuras e iluminadas.

Like it like i do? Then i have to admit, it's just a scale model! Now i know how to light it like this, i'm going to search for a real R35 candidate.
