Théoden is king of Rohan, but his mind is corrupted by Saruman through the poisoning words of Gríma Wormtongue. With his strengthened power, Gandalf the White is able to free Théoden. He decides to hide from Saruman’s forces in the mountains and seek refuge in Helm's Deep!
After I built Meduseld from the outside it was great to build the wooden architecture from the inside too. I’m particularly happy how the horse heads turned out.
Slowly we’re heading to the end of my part from the 2nd movie, so stay tuned for my last two scenes next week! Look at their coming on the first light of Monday and Thursday!

Been wanting to do a pic for Star-Lord (who?) for a while since I got the Milano several months ago and finally sat down and took the pic and edited it. One of the things that was pretty prevalent in Guardians (and a lot of movies now a days) is dramatic lends flare, so to keep with the style of the film I added one for good mesure. :)

The Midland Railway – Butterley has announced that steam locomotive No. 3883 Lord Phil is the 2019 visitor to the railway.
The Hunslet WD 0-6-0 was built in 1944 for the War Department and is one of the large types of 485 Austerity locomotives, built for military and industrial use.

A very brave, or foolish, character getting some sun on top of the derelict Lord Line building in Hull.
The 60's iconic Lord&Taylor building on Western Avenue in D.C. is shuttered with an uncertain future (may or may not be preserved as part of Metro's bus terminal reconfiguration), but its signature monochrome facade has been turned wildly colorful in the meantime.
