reflections...looking out to snow filled evening

She is so funny. If there is a fly in the house...she WILL get it!!!

Good thing I only had one class today, because it took all of my strength to bundle up and go outside.

I desperately want it to be spring already. To go outside with my new flower-y skirt and t-shirt and walk around. Soon.

Wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Day 4 At the beach in Poipu Kauai July 4th 2009

Eager to catch the fall colors, we took a week in late autumn and headed to Austria and Italy for a road trip exploring the back roads while chasing creative photography opportunities.

From the Alps to the Dolomites - these photos are the result.

Unfortunately, because we live on a very busy street, we are unable to let our kitties wander around outside like their little hearts desire. If we ever move out to the country (I know, all of Montana is "the country" hah) I'm sure they will be absolutely thrilled with their newfound freedom. Coco (the one in this photo) isn't too bad dealing with the longings of her feral past; she is mostly content to watch from the windows. But Tesla, the silver tabby... she wants nothing more than to be outdoors, catching robins and chasing bunnies and doing all those things that wildcats 10x her size get to do. She really has the heart of a tiger in there. :)

Looking out of the green tunnel at the playground. He was scared at first; but, he got over it, eventually.

Look out your window I can see his light.

If we can sparkle he may land tonight.

This morning we had to evacuate our building.

The Port Lincoln City Council has just moved some staff into the office next to ours on the first floor of Port Lincoln's Civic Centre. They turned on their air conditioner and the smell of smoke soon became evident. When it didn't stop coming out, they called 000 and reported a 'fire' (at least smoke).

We then decided to evacuate the building, under a 'better safe than sorry' theory.

The MFS were at the building within 20 minutes and spent a bit over an hour checking the ceiling space and offices for any fire.

We love our emergency service crew for keeping us safe.

"Looking out at a new opportunity. Who will I meet? Will I find any friends? Did I make the right decision? So many changes in so little time"

I took this of the girl sitting next to me as she was staring out the window. You always have to wonder what's on people's minds when they do that. I pictured her as moving to a new city for a new challenge and the next step in her life.

Probably not but it makes for a better story! :)
