The sun sets sending rays of light upon the prairie grass giving them a moment to shine.

Like small snippets of memories encapsulated in each bubble; remnants of the lives once lived here whose own lights have been snuffed out through the sands of time.

I went outside to water the plants this morning and found both of my cats staring back out at me. They had been watching the birds at the birdfeeder until I scared them all away with the water hose.
