Two chairs looking out on the Abaco Sea in the tiny village of Hope Town, Elbow Cay Abacos, Bahamas.

Lookin in an old barn window...only to discover I was also looking out

Looking for squirrels and birds.

Paro market, Bhutan. A car screeches with full brakes on right next to me. The driver jumps out calling for someone - shrieking. In answer, there's a "WOOF!" and this cute lil' thing comes bounding out from one of the alleys. The door's held open for the doggie, who jumps in and starts to enjoy the breeze as they drive away. Into a sunset. Happily ever after. [ Well, it did seem like that - just LOOK at that dog! ]

One of the many, many spectacular views on our drive around the Akan lake area.

Looking out of Abdrazak's house to the courtyard where our bikes were as his daughter walks past.

First shot of someone passsing by my window while having lunch in China Town.

A little flower amongst the larger lilies just catching that lovely light!

There's always glass.

Sorry this one is late, but I just didn't have time to scan until tonight (got some time to kill). Did a big ol' batch scan!

Day 286 of 365

Each day I'm feeling better about how school is going, although I can see how new teachers feel like they get burned out. I have spent more time at school than I'm being paid for... a lot more time. I was at school yesterday, and will probably spend a chunk of next Monday there after I get back from St. J. It's worth it though.

Random Fact: I received a Thank You note from my birthday boy in class today when I gave him a "Happy Birthday" Pencil. What a kind and thoughtful boy...

At Peter Zumthor's Serpentine Gallery Pavilion.

My baby has crazy hair!

His mom tries to mousse it, gel it, put a hat on it, but it refuses to do anything but stand straight up. My solution/suggestion is to let it grow and maybe gravity will eventually get the upperhand. Haha.

My sweet little peacock.

It made me laugh and get all warm and fuzzy inside when I heard this lady walking by with her kids exclaim, "Look at his hair!"
