Take me to your best friend's house
Roll around this roundabout
Oh yeah...
I tried this shot for this first time this weekend after being in love with this for the longest time.
I shrieked when I got this... Shrieked in the middle of cottage country, I did.
It's clearly over exposed and the wind blew the bubble back onto the soap container, but I'll get'er done good. It's a work in progress. One I hope to capture perfectly before my next move.
I dedicate this one to Kathy and her lovely finger. If you look carefully you can see her happy self in the right half of the burst.
The Transport Heritage Expo is held each year over the Queen's Birthday long weekend at Sydney's Central Railway Station. We joined the crowds on the Saturday for a steam shuttle ride and views of a range of heritage diesel locomotives.
Are her arms and head not tired from carrying all that stuff around on her body? It was her eyes and fake eyelashes that really scared me

Caught in the reflection at Restaurant Tantarantana—where every angle tells a story. Barcelona continues to surprise us with hidden gems like this. The warm glow, the vintage details, the company... this is what travel memories are made of.

Enjoyed my last day of the family day long weekend today. Kath was away visiting friends in NYC so I had the entire weekend to myself in Toronto. Even had the chance to pick up some old cameras that I've forsaken since going compact. I've had no regrets going compact but I still haven't found a lens i love as much as Canon's FF 35L. Easily my favourite 35mm lens of all time. Admittedly I haven't shot with a Leica Summilux yet. One day maybe, in a future long weekend where I find manual focusing fun.
I've heard good things about the new Olympus 17mm f1.8 but think I might wait for the Fujinon 23mm 1.4 f1.4 to be finally released. Until then I have my trustly 35L, I just wish it was smaller.
Shot at high ISO. At first I thought this was a female until herself pointed out the beak turning yellow.
