It was at this point that I was approached by a guy who asked if I had seen the tree that looks like the Devil? I replied "no" and asked where it was. He then without a reply walked off into the forest. Not creepy at all......
The northern slope above the reservoir is now, sadly, cleared of pine trees. See below for what it looked like previously.
