loft dress - Tarantula
This avant garde dress was hand made by me using black cotton, chiffon and lame fabrics.
Loft dress can be worn as a short dress or tunic paired with leggins and military boots, that's how I see it.
The fabric on the top is a black georgette with ruffled details. For the bottom I used black metallic chiffon and black vintage chiffon.
The whole piece is embellished using black lame fabric, vintage buttons, hand dyed satin trim and cotton print of a vintage industrial lamp.
Size is free between Small and Medium
One of a kind design

This is Building B of the Brumby Lofts in Marietta... my new home. I'm temporarily in building A until my loft is ready (near the end of March).
The Brumby Lofts used to house the Brumby Rocking Chair factory in the late 1800's. It's situated only a few blocks away from the Marietta Square, where there are a multitude of activities planned throughout the year and offers museums, restaurants and shops that attract a lot of tourism. There's even a new Brumby Chair Factory in the Square that sells new chairs and the antique ones as well.

Responding to UB 2020 support for artistic expression and exposure to artistic resources, this innovative live-work complex is modeled after successful arts spaces the world over. A mix of simple inspiring architecture; multi-disciplinary arts activities like dance, visual arts and music; and dynamic live-work studio spaces for visiting faculty and graduate students will create a magnetic center for UB arts. The Arts Loft will open new opportunities for distinguished national fellowships, regional outreach programs and campus arts exposure.
